Legal
Privacy Policy
How Assurity HR Consulting handles the information you share with us through this website and in the course of an engagement.
Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us. That includes your name, business or organization, email address, phone number and the details you describe when you use a contact form, send an email, book a consultation or request information about the HR Membership Program.
Our website host also records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring site. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify individual visitors.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, schedule and conduct consultations, deliver the services you engage us for, send information you have requested, and maintain our own business records.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not use your information for advertising profiles or share it with data brokers.
Third-party services
Consultation scheduling is handled through Calendly, which collects the name, email and scheduling details you enter into its booking form under its own privacy policy. Client engagements may use the Assurity Connect Client Portal, which is access-controlled and invitation-only.
These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
Confidentiality of engagement information
Information shared with us in the course of an HR engagement — including employee relations matters, investigation records, personnel documentation and organizational data — is treated as confidential. It is used only to deliver the engagement, is not disclosed to other clients, and is shared outside our firm only with your direction or where disclosure is required by law.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses only the cookies necessary to serve pages and remember basic display preferences. If analytics are enabled, they are used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.
Data retention and security
We keep inquiry and engagement records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, tax and professional recordkeeping obligations, then dispose of them securely. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, ask that it be deleted, or ask to stop receiving communications from us. California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know and the right to delete. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under that law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
